Sometimes it’s easier to understand power, control, and incentives when you stop talking about people altogether and start talking about animals.

Call it a fable. Call it satire. Call it a children’s story.

Because on the surface, that’s all this is a small farm, a few familiar characters, and a system that seems to work… until it doesn’t.

This story takes place in Illinois.

Or maybe it doesn’t.
