Timeline and FOIA State number 2

2nd State FOIA Timeline (Unofficial, Unbothered, and Apparently “Not Illinois”)

So I filed one FOIA.

Not ten. Not a campaign.

One.

Followed it up with a single email.

Next thing I know…

I’m not getting a generic response from a clerk.

Nope.

Executive-level callback.

Not “we received your request.”

More like:

“Hey… quick question… what exactly are you looking for? Case numbers? LLCs? Intent? Also… we’ve seen your Illinois work.”

And then, this is where it gets good…

They hit me with:

“We’re not Illinois.”

“We’re not corrupt.”

“These weren’t intentional crimes… just procedural errors.”

“We had no intention of allowing anything illegal.”

“We’ll investigate, prosecute, and fix it immediately.”

Immediately.

(Still waiting on that part… but hey… immediately sounds great.)

And it reminded me of a story about Vlad the Impaler.

Legend goes, after enough… let’s call them “very strong first impressions” he didn’t have to do anything anymore.

He’d show up…

…and people just… cooperated.

Now relax, nobody’s putting heads on spikes here.

But it’s interesting how:

One FOIA in Illinois = silence, delay, math that turns 3,000 into 16, and hundreds more requests just to force the record to exist.

One FOIA in this new state = executive outreach, apologies, and a full TED Talk on “we promise we’re different.”

So what changed?

Same request style.

Same questions.

Same me.

Only difference is…

the awareness of what happens next if the paperwork starts talking back.

Whether this state actually investigates…

or just bought themselves some time…

we’ll find out.

But one thing is already confirmed:

Gravitas Satanae isn’t theory anymore.

It’s observable.

And apparently…

Word travels.

F’nAround doesn’t F Around they shine a light on the mapped gravity wells…. until it increases.
