SANDOS WAS WORTH THE WAIT.
We finally got our hands on @sandos.eatery at Summer’s End Smokeout, and they came ready: a burger and TWO different kinds of wings all of it absolutely delicious.
But we couldn’t just let Mike make the call. That might be biased. So we brought in comedian @the.real.bubs for an independent taste test.
And Bubs immediately hit us with possibly the best food review of the weekend:
“These buns are incredible.”
Then he said they reminded him of his mom’s Sloppy Joes and once somebody starts comparing festival food to Mom’s cooking, we’re pretty sure the review is officially over.
The verdict? Super amazing. Super delicious. Mom-memory approved.
There’s a reason Sandos has become such a staple around SESO. The burger hit, BOTH kinds of wings hit, the buns apparently unlocked childhood memories, and Mike and Bubs kept eating.
Absolutely worth the wait and another one of those vendors that helps make @summersendsmokeout feel like its own little community for the weekend.
