Rules for the pattern?
As many of you know, ideas don’t exactly knock politely before they show up in my head.
They usually strike when I’m listening to the news, flipping through the paper looking for my Sudoku (yes, I still read a newspaper… yes, they still exist), drinking coffee, or mid-conversation with a friend.
All it takes is a word.
A phrase.
A question.
A trigger.
And my brain goes straight into pattern-recognition mode.
Not conspiracy mode.
Not outrage mode.
Pattern mode.
This week’s pattern?
Same allegations. Different outcomes.
Sometimes projects halt.
Sometimes land deals get pulled.
Sometimes licenses get approved.
Sometimes headlines get loud.
And when you zoom out, the structure either makes perfect sense…
Or the timing does.
So I did what I usually do, I mapped it.
Not accusing.
Not defending.
Just asking the most dangerous question in public life:
What’s the rule?
Because systems that are consistent don’t need choreography.
Anyway, that’s this morning’s coffee tangent.
