Klutch District Brings Back the Pride of Chicago Sports Culture

One of the things we loved about the Chicago Streetwear Expo wasn’t just seeing new brands, it was seeing brands that instantly transported us back to a different era of Chicago culture.

When we stopped by Klutch District, that’s exactly what happened.

We caught up with J from @ambitious_jklutch, who introduced us to the story behind the @2linesinc brand. Created by two brothers, Two Lines represents the two lines found in currency design while also symbolizing connection, ambition, and building something meaningful together.

When we asked what piece she’d create if given the opportunity, her answer was pure Chicago:

A 312 Box Crop Jersey.

And honestly? We can already picture it.

Walking through the Klutch booth felt like stepping back into the 1990s when Chicago sports culture dominated everything. Back when people proudly wore their teams everywhere. When Starter jackets were everywhere you looked. When the Chicago Bulls weren’t just a basketball team, they were a cultural movement.

The nostalgia hit immediately.

The booth blended modern streetwear with that classic Chicago sports energy that many brands have forgotten over the years. It reminded us of a time when city pride wasn’t subtle. It was worn on jackets, jerseys, hats, and hoodies every day.

Events like the Chicago Streetwear Expo are important because they showcase brands that understand culture isn’t just about fashion. It’s about identity, community, and remembering where you came from.
