Now, with recent reporting raising questions around individuals like David Berger and the broader ecosystem of Cannabis, some of those gaps start to look less like delays and more like… structure. Like we said over and over.

But it does raise a fair question: Why were ownership records so hard to access in the first place?
Especially when the same system and Governor Pritzker himself publicly celebrated “social equity” wins without fully transparent context.
