They be Epsteining
Inspiration for my work usually comes from structured places data analysis, public records, conversations with insiders, anonymous drops, and patterns observed across systems.
Occasionally, it comes from something less conventional.
The other night, I had a dream where Eric Cartman from South Park broke down a simple behavioral pattern for me and ended it with a phrase that stuck.
I woke up, immediately called the F'nAround team, and we built a new track around it.
It reinforced something I’ve noticed for a long time:
the brain doesn’t just process information logically, it compresses patterns into symbols, metaphors, and, apparently, hooks.
Whether it’s documents, interviews, or subconscious pattern recognition, the source matters less than the signal.
Sometimes the signal just shows up… unexpectedly.
Sometimes it’s Cartman in a dream.
What’s even better this same dream handed us the concept for a music video.
And unlike our last attempt at a music video that had production issues that caused it to be halted. No production team is needed this time.
So without further ado, in the words of my subconscious:
They be Epsteining.
