Beating a defamation lawsuit from nuEra Cannabis
They sued me for defamation.
Read that again. nuEra Cannabis and their owners took me to court for defamation because I said these things out loud:
That they bribed a witness.
That they did illegal things.
That they're racist.
That they're sexist.
That they market to children.
That they sexually harassed someone.
That they manipulated a lawsuit for political gain.
That they did unethical things.
They sued the journalist for talking.
So we went to court. The jury looked at every exhibit, every receipt, every text message and found for ME.

Here's the part they didn't think through: when you sue someone for defamation, all of it goes into the public record. Every wire. Every text. Every incident report. Forever.
