La Colombe Coffee Randolph Street Review: Vanilla Latte, Mocha and a Taste of Ube
La Colombe Coffee Randolph Street Review: Vanilla Latte, Mocha and a Taste of Ube
La Colombe is already a familiar name to me from its ready-to-drink cold coffee, so stopping into the Randolph Street café felt like a chance to try that coffee-shop side of the brand. The visit delivered: a vanilla latte, a mocha, a little taste of ube sweet cream and a cute café vibe that made it an easy place to slow down for a coffee.
The one small disappointment? They were out of white mocha. I’ll have to save that one for next time.
A cute coffee stop on Randolph Street
The café has a welcoming, neighborhood feel, with a pastry case, coffee gear and bags of La Colombe beans on display, plus a fridge stocked with the brand’s packaged drinks. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a familiar favorite, browse the shelves, and maybe leave with something for later.
I ordered a vanilla latte and a mocha. Both were enjoyable, and the menu has plenty of other espresso and tea options for anyone deciding what to try. La Colombe’s café menu includes classics like espresso, cappuccino, latte and mocha, along with matcha, chai, tea and drinks on tap. The company notes that offerings and prices can vary by café.
I also got a little taste of ube sweet cream. That purple ube twist was a fun extra in the middle of a classic coffee order and a reminder that the café menu can offer something beyond the usual vanilla-versus-chocolate decision.
White mocha: the next-visit mission
La Colombe was out of white mocha during my visit, so I didn’t get to try it. That’s part of the coffee shop game: sometimes the drink you came in curious about is the one that’s temporarily unavailable. I still left happy with what I ordered, but white mocha is officially on the list for next time.
Seasonal drinks keep the menu moving
La Colombe rotates seasonal drinks, so there may be something new to try depending on when you stop in. Its café menu currently lists seasonal specials such as S’mores Draft Latte and Peaches & Cream, and says seasonal flavors can be served on tap or as hot or iced espresso and matcha lattes.
That changing lineup fits the brand’s ready-to-drink business, too. La Colombe says some café flavors begin as barista creations before making their way into cans. The current range includes familiar options such as vanilla, mocha and caramel, alongside rotating seasonal products.
Already a fan of La Colombe’s canned coffee?
I’m familiar with La Colombe through its cold ready-to-drink coffees, so it was nice to connect the can in the fridge with the café experience behind it. If you already like the packaged Draft Lattes, the Randolph shop gives you a chance to order a latte made at the counter, try seasonal specials, or pick up drinks and coffee to take home.
La Colombe products are listed by major retailers including Target and Whole Foods Market, though the available flavors and in-store stock can vary. La Colombe also has a store locator for checking nearby availability.

Final sip
La Colombe on Randolph Street is worth a stop if you’re nearby and want a cute café atmosphere with familiar coffee choices and seasonal drinks to explore. I enjoyed the vanilla latte and mocha, appreciated getting to taste the ube sweet cream, and left with one unfinished assignment: come back when the white mocha is in stock.
