Academic Research in the Public Eye

Research does not always begin or end with a dissertation. This section serves as a public repository for working academic research articles, requested research, independent studies, exploratory papers, and collaborative academic projects developed outside of my primary dissertation research. Some projects begin with questions raised through ongoing institutional, regulatory, organizational, legal, economic, or strategic research. Others may originate through requests, emerging events, professional discussions, or opportunities to examine a subject with researchers, academics, professionals, institutions, or other collaborators. Consistent with the broader F’nAround research approach, much of this work is conducted in the public eye. Working articles may therefore develop as additional evidence, records, data, scholarship, or competing explanations become available. Unless otherwise stated, materials presented here should be understood as working academic research rather than peer-reviewed journal publications. Each represents an effort to apply rigorous academic theory, methodology, primary-source analysis, and transparent reasoning to questions worth examining. This section is also intended to create opportunities for joint research, interdisciplinary collaboration, scholarly critique, replication, and further development. Researchers or professionals with relevant expertise, evidence, data, or competing interpretations are welcome to engage with the work. The objective is simple: ask worthwhile questions, document the evidence, test the theory, make the reasoning visible, and allow the research to develop wherever the evidence leads.
